In line with the directive of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Refuse Management and Sanitation Board (REMASAB) conducted a comprehensive waste evacuation exercise at Kuka Bulukiya, Dala Local Government Area.

The operation involved the deployment of REMASAB personnel and operational equipment to clear accumulated waste from the area, to improve environmental sanitation and restore a cleaner, healthier, and more hygienic environment for residents.

The exercise recorded significant achievements, including the successful evacuation of large volumes of refuse, improved environmental cleanliness and aesthetics, reduction of potential public health and environmental hazards associated with indiscriminate waste disposal, and increased public awareness on the importance of proper waste management and environmental hygiene.

REMASAB remains committed to sustaining regular sanitation interventions across Kano State as part of its mandate to promote a cleaner, healthier, and more environmentally sustainable society through effective waste management and active community participation.
