On 7th August 2025, the Managing Director of the Refuse Management and Sanitation Board (REMASAB) paid working visits to Premier Radio Kano and Radio Kano, where he participated in radio programmes and held strategic engagements with the management of both media organizations.

The visits provided a platform to discuss areas of mutual interest, particularly strengthening collaboration in the dissemination of information on environmental sanitation, sustainable waste management, and public awareness campaigns. During the radio programmes, the Managing Director highlighted REMASAB’s ongoing initiatives and emphasized the critical role of public participation in maintaining a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environment across Kano State.

The engagements further strengthened the partnership between REMASAB and the two media organizations, creating opportunities for sustained public enlightenment and behavioral change communication on environmental issues. They also established a framework for strategic collaboration in promoting responsible waste management practices, increasing public awareness, and supporting the Kano State Government’s environmental sustainability agenda through effective media engagement.
