On 21st August 2025, the Managing Director of the Refuse Management and Sanitation Board (REMASAB), alongside members of the staff, paid condolence visits to the families of two staff members of the Board who had recently passed away. The visits were undertaken to express heartfelt sympathies, offer support to the bereaved families, and demonstrate REMASAB’s commitment to the welfare of its workforce and their loved ones during periods of grief.
During the visits, the Managing Director conveyed the condolences of the Kano State Government and the entire REMASAB family, praying for the peaceful repose of the deceased and for strength and comfort for their families. He reaffirmed the Board’s recognition of the invaluable contributions of its staff and emphasized the importance of standing by employees and their families in times of loss.
The condolence visits provided comfort and reassurance to the bereaved families, strengthened the bond between REMASAB and its workforce, and reflected the compassionate leadership of the Kano State Government under the administration of His Excellency, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf. The gesture further underscored the Government’s commitment to the welfare of public servants and the promotion of a caring and supportive work environment.
The Managing Director reiterated REMASAB’s commitment to fostering a culture of solidarity, compassion, and mutual support, recognizing that the well-being of its personnel remains fundamental to the Board’s continued service to the people of Kano State.
